Hi everyone,
A very good friend of mine just 'fixed' all his photos.. He has a Samsung Galaxy Prime SM-G531F[GSMH] with Android 5.1.1 (lollipop) and given the fact that I am the family`s IT guy, I was kindly asked to recover the photos. The photos are of some activities of various impaired children (he is a teacher at a school for special children) and he was the only one that took pictures.
Now I get to the point: the phone has the stock ROM, it is not rooted and I understood that any software for photo recovery that one can use requires ROOT. I have tumbled over the '[GUIDE] Internal Memory Data Recovery - Yes We Can!' page of the XDA (my apologies for referring to other forums, no harm intended), but I still haven`t found any resource to non-destructive root the 5.1.1 android.. and I`m afraid it does use the TRIM function (nand flash cleanup), but still, I`m willing to try and see if I get anything out of it.
Any FAST help is much appreciated, I wouldn`t want to keep the phone more than 1-2 days..
